![]() I'd been looking forward to this trip for 4 long months. I had my unused passport ready and a list of things I was looking forward to doing. This trip would be the best yet! After stopping in four airports we finally landed in Grand Bahama International airport, a very small but efficient airport. Once we landed we were whisked away in a limo complete with a driver/tour guide. He told us everything we didn't know about Freeport Bahamas. What an amazing place full of beauty, history and culture. Once we checked into our rooms at the Memories Grand Bahama Beach Resort and dropped off our bags we immediately went out to see the aquamarine water that we could see from our plane. Stunning. That's all I could say. After hours of flying this is exactly what I was hoping for. Most of our time was spent on the beautiful beaches in Freeport. We tried to get on a glass bottom boat but the waters were too choppy and our tour was cancelled. We decided to go to Taino Beach and try Tony Macaroni's but it was closed on that day so our cab driver suggested another beach restaurant that the locals go to. The food was great the view was amazing! The next few days were dedicated to relaxing on the beach. "Cups" first photoshoot on the beach was great! The weather was a bit warm and humid but what better time to be at the beach? Our time in the Bahamas was all that I expected and more. I am planning my next trip as I type. Enjoy the pictures!
