Brewing Measurements and Methods
Since coffee strength is a personal preference the instructions below are for medium strength (coffee measurements may need to be adjusted according to your preference). Want it stronger? Use more ground coffee. Other than freshly roasted and ground coffee there are a few other important factors that contribute to a great cup of coffee:
- Coffee Grind (fine, medium, coarse)
- Water (filtered or bottled is best)
- Water temperature (Desired temperature for brewing coffee is between 195° F - 205° F for optimal flavor extraction).
- Brewing method (pour-over, automatic drip, French Press, etc.).
Note: Coffee grounds should not be disposed of in sinks or garbage disposals. Please dispose of used grounds in compost bins or in the garbage.
